Blitz Tennis can coach at all levels of the new
Covid Protection Framework/Traffic Light System.

We will adhere to the Government's Covid-19 Protection Framework and
​Tennis New Zealand guidelines when running our coaching sessions.

​Please note the Club and Blitz Tennis are regularly considering the best way
to protect our coach and Club members from Covid-19, and out policies may change at short notice.

Oakura Tennis Club Covid-19 Policy (Jan-2022)

  • ​As the Oakura Tennis Club clubrooms and courts sit within the Oakura School grounds the Club is bound by the same framework and legal requirements required of the school.
  • Under the ORANGE traffic light setting, to meet social distancing guidelines a maximum of 25 people are permitted inside the clubrooms at any one time. Social distancing and facemasks are encouraged for spectators and players in between games.
  • Under the RED traffic light setting, during times when the vaccine passports are NOT required (ie evenings and weekends) a maximum of 25 people are permitted to use the Club facilities at any one time, including the clubrooms, tennis courts and surrounding areas. Whether you are indoors or outdoors, it is mandatory to wear a facemask unless you are on court playing tennis or receiving coaching.​
  • Under the RED traffic light setting, as required by the Ministry of Education during the school week (Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm) the Club and Blitz Tennis will require proof of​ vaccine passports for all players, coaches, and spectators aged 12 years and over at the clubrooms and on the courts.  
Blitz Tennis Covid-19 Refund Policy

We will refund prepaid sessions you are unable to attend in the following cases:
  • Tennis lessons are cancelled by Blitz Tennis 
  • ​You are 12 years & older and unvaccinated and unable to attend due to vaccination requirements
  • Sickness is covered under our general refund policy
